The lab is dedicated to exploring how cells communicate with each other, specifically through cell surface receptors. Current research focuses on two particularly intricate fields: neurobiology and immunology, as well as their interface.

The lab's current specific research focuses include:

1. Investigating the structural biology of neural protein complexes to understand their physiological functions and roles in signaling.

2. Identifying ligands for cell surface receptors and developing methodologies for this process.

3. Developing cell surface receptor modulators that integrate in vitro protein evolution and AI-facilitated optimization.
